While Fiore never comes out and says if any of the 12 wards are good to start in, or if there such things as starting, intermediate and finishing Posta, it does seem likely that the order and naming of the Posta indicate this somewhat. Also keep in mind that any of the Posta are good defensive positions, some are merely better then others. The same for the Postas offensive capabilities as well.
You can pick any of the Pulsativa Posta, or Posta de Finestra to start in. Posta di Finestra is on the list because it's a ward you naturally end up in when drawing your blade.
